Snopake Fitness Test header
At Snopake we recognise that not all great ideas make great products.

All of our products must pass the Snopake 5-Step Fitness Test to ensure they are fit for purpose, and more importantly, will outlast their guarantee.

Strength. Products are tested for overall strength under excessive force. For example, Polyfiles are filled beyond their recommended capacity to test that they are strongly welded together.
Durability. The next stage is to test the product and features for durability beyond the guarantee period. As an example, the popper on the Polyfile Lite is tested more than 7,000 times to simulate opening and closing it 10 times a day over 2 years. Products are also tested for wear and tear and exposure to the elements.
Usability. Next, we ask a group of volunteers to put our product to the test in a number of environments. We ask for feedback on ease of use, suitability to purpose and also whether it looks the part. We use feedback to make any final tweaks, ensuring the product is as user friendly as possible. Only when the product has been given the thumbs up by all of our volunteers, does it proceed to the next stage.
Affordability. Our products must be user friendly but also affordable. If possible, we compare our products to others on the markets and assess if they represent good value for money. Pricing is always justified by the quality and design of the product.
Sustainability. We examine any effects that our products have on the environment. Our aim is to reduce impact on the environment and safeguard natural resources for the next generation. This may be accomplished through the use of recycled or biodegradable materials or through developing products with longevity.
Finally... products passing the 5-step fitness test are deemed ‘fit for purpose’ and awarded the Snopake guarantee. Only then are they made available for you to purchase and enjoy!
